Hi everyone! Some of you may remember me. I’m a refugee too. Signed up for Kimkins in January, but really got started around March 1st. My friend IRL, Christin, was the inspiration to get started on it, and she has been an inspiration ever since - especially now!

I lost 65lbs and then stalled in August when I reached my goal of “lose as much as I can by 8/7 - my 40th birthday”. I hadn’t been around the site much since the WW article because it was too overwhelming to follow all those new faces and posts. I guess I’m not much of a large crowd type of person. I didn’t have too many health side effects, but I also didn’t follow exactly strick to plan. I guess now I’m glad I didn’t.

I too am very disappointed in this whole situation and will be following the progress of the story kinda like it’s a soap opera. It’s like a train wreck that you can’t turn your eyes away from!
I’ve turned to South Beach. I like the idea of not going overboard on fats as my dad died of a massive heart attack at 52 and I need to be heart-smart. I think SB will be great for me. Like Christin said, it sure is nice not to be afraid of broccoli or the occasional apple slice anymore. I’m planning to stay on phase one for a while so that I can really educate myself of the good carbs to eat. My DH also had trygliceride numbers over 600, so SB successfully helped him lose 30# and get those on track, so it’s a plan I think my whole family can do together and I won’t be the outcast eating yet another hard boiled egg.

i.love.lucy,
I'm really sorry you were a victim of Kimmer's fraud and the unsafe Kimkins diet, and that her health was damaged. I hope you will consider joining the Kimkins lawsuit! Here is how to join the Kimkins lawsuit.
